South Korea have officially opened their 2022 FIFA World Cup training camp in Seoul ahead of friendly games with Costa Rica and Cameroon.
The Asian giants will face Costa Rica on Friday September 23 at the Goyang Stadium in Goyang, northwest of Seoul, before a clash with Cameroon at 8 p.m. on Sept. 27 at Seoul World Cup Stadium.
So far, 20 of the 26 players called up by head coach Paulo Bento are in camp with the rest including skipper Son of Tottenham expected to land on Monday evening.
“We will try to play as well as possible to improve our style. Maybe we will try to play in a different way in those games,” Coach Paulo Bento stated.
South Korea are paired in the same Group with Ghana, Uruguay and South Korea for the impending World Cup.
