The Black Stars need victory over Mozambique to ensure they seal passage to the next phase of the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast.

Each Black Star player is set to receive a whopping $30,000 as qualification bonus should the team record victory in their Afcon final group game against Mozambique on Monday 22nd January, 2024.

Ghana suffered a 2-1 loss to Cape Verde in the opening game but put up an improved display to draw 2-2 against seven time champions Egypt in the second group game.

With just one point from the first two games, Chris Hughton and his charges go into Monday’s game with an absolute winning mentality knowing very well that each member of the team would pocket him the said amount should they amass all three points in the crucial game.

Meanwhile, Sportsworldghana.com, understands that head coach Chris Hughton will go home with double of the player’s money if he manages to get a win for the Black Stars in the epic clash.

The game game between Ghana and Mozambique is scheduled for Stade Alassane Ouattarra in Ebimpe on Monday, January 22, 2024
