Ghanaian football star Mohammed Kudus is slated to feature in one more game for West Ham United before joining the Black Stars’ camp to prepare for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
As confirmed by the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the Black Stars will convene in Kumasi for a 10-day camp before heading to Ivory Coast for the 2023 AFCON.
Despite initial plans for Kudus to travel to Ghana after West Ham’s 2-0 victory over Arsenal in the English Premier League on Thursday night, fresh details indicate that the club wishes him to participate in the upcoming match against Brighton & Hove Albion before departing for the AFCON.
Discussions have already commenced with the Ghana FA regarding this matter, and Kudus, 23, is expected to journey to Ghana for the Black Stars’ camp in Kumasi on Tuesday night immediately after the West Ham vs. Brighton match.
