The Black Stars of Ghana defeated Madagascar by 3-0 to go top of Group E after the first round of matches of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday.
Mohammed Kudus, Afena Ohene-Gyan and Osman Bukari scored the goals for Ghana at the Cape Coast sports stadium.
But before that, Angola, has beaten Central African Republic (CAR) by 2-1 in Luanda.
Ghana lead the table with 3 points plus 3 goals.
The top two teams from the group advance to the finals of the 2023 AFCON in the Ivory Coast.
The Black Stars now travel to CAR on 5th June as Angola go to Antananarivo to take on the Barea on the same day.
