Andre Ayew-Black Stars captain, has said that his outit will deploy the same game plan they executed against Nigeria in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup play-off when they face Madagascar on Wednesday 1st June, 2022 in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Al-Sadd star who missed the crucial play-off tie due to suspension, returns to the team for the two Afcon qualifier games against Madagascar and Central African Republic.
“It’s the same game plan we executed against Nigeria, we are going to replicate the same thing against Madagascar Tomorrow,” Ayew said at Tuesday pre-match conference.
Ghana will take on Madagascar on Wednesday, June 1 before taking on Central African Republic four days later.
With the World Cup around the corner, Otto Addo will also lead his charges to a four-nation tournament in Japan as part of preparations towards the FIFA World Cup.
The Black Stars will also take part in a 4-nation tournament in that features Japan, Chile and Tunisia as part of the build up to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in November.
