Former Black Meteors starman, Kwabena Owusu has shared his disappointment for not making it into the Black Stars team for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Owusu, who helped MKE Ankaragucu bounced back to the Turkish Super Lig on the first time of asking has expressed his worry about his inability to make the Ghana squad.
According to him, he’s very worried that he’s not part of the Black Stars team currently for the upcoming matches against Madagascar and Central Africa Republic.
Nonetheless, the Ghanaian forward has vowed to fight hard at club level to impress the technical handlers of the Black Stars for a future call-up.
“I’m very worried that am not part of the Ghana Black stars team currently because I want to fight for my country and seeing my self this current season I should have been part of the current black stars team”, he said in an interview with Accra-based Original FM.
He’s one player many Ghanaians tipped for success but hasn’t really lived up to his billing.
