Talented Black Princesses forward Mukarama Abdulai exudes confidence ahead of Ghana’s upcoming match against Tanzania on Tuesday.
Following their narrow 1-0 victory over Ethiopia in the Group A football tournament at the 13th African Games, the Black Princesses are poised to face Tanzania in their second group stage encounter.
In a pre-match interview, Mukarama Abdulai emphasized the team’s readiness for the challenge, stating, “We know they are a physical side, but we will follow our coaches’ instructions and strive to perform better than in our opening match.”
Addressing the transition from playing in the World Cup to competing in the African Games, Abdulai dismissed any excuses for not scoring in the previous game, expressing determination to make an impact in upcoming matches.
“Playing in the World Cup is totally different from the African Games but I wouldn’t use this as an excuse not to score in the opening game though I had goal-scoring chances but I expect to do better in our next matches,” Mukarama Abdulai said.
With preparations in full swing, Ghana’s Black Princesses are gearing up to showcase their prowess against Tanzania at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Tuesday, March 12.
