The 2023 Ghana Football Association elections have suffered another setback as the hearing for the injunction case has been postponed for the second successive time.
The hearing for injunction application which was initiated by Alhaji Karim Grusah, the owner of King Faisal FC against the Ghana Football Association has been postponed to September 19, 2023.
According to a report filed by Citi Sports, the decision to postpone the hearing “was reached during a virtual court session on Wednesday, September 6th, where both sides’ lawyers agreed to reconvene in approximately two weeks to address their concerns”.
King Faisal FC placed an injunction on the 2023 Ghana Football Association elections with the presidential category initially scheduled for September 27, in Temale.
Current GFA president, Kurt Okraku is seeking for re-election while being challenged by George Afriyie who once served as the vice president of the association.
