Aduana Stars FC entertain FC Samartex 1996 at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park on Sunday in the Premier League.
The Fire Club jumped to 11th in the table with 17 points after their hard fought 1-0 win at basement club Legon Cities last weekend.
Aduana are the fourth weakest home side in the league ahead of the clash with just two wins, three draws and two defeats. They will be desperate to grab all the points on Sunday.
Defending champions FC Samartex 1996 are underperforming in the league this season, they’ve amassed 18 points and are sitting 9th place in the table.
The Timber Giants are winless in their last five outings (D1, L4), having scored 10 and conceded 10. They still have improvements to make away from home, however as their record over the last seven games has not been convincing (D4, L3). They are yet to win their first away game this season.
Aduana FC have played FC Samartex 1996 twice at home in the league since the Timber Giants gained promotion into the Premiership in 2022/23 season with Aduana FC drawing one and losing one.
In the 2022/23 season Aduana FC drawn 2-2 with FC Samartex and suffered a 1-2 defeat in the 2023/24 season.
