Bechem United will look to extend their remarkable winning streak to five games when they host FC Samartex 1996 at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Saturday, December 21, 2024.

The Hunters, currently 3rd on the league table with 23 points, are in fine form as they push to stay in contention for the title. They secured a dominant 2-0 victory over Legon Cities last weekend, bringing their record to four wins and one draw in their last five matches. Bechem United have scored 12 goals this season and conceded only 7, showcasing a solid balance between attack and defense.

At home, Bechem United have been invincible in the league, recording four wins and one draw without conceding a single goal. Ranked as the third-best home side this season, they’ll aim to maintain their impressive form in front of their passionate supporters.

Meanwhile, defending champions FC Samartex 1996 are struggling to find their footing this season. Currently in 10th place with 17 points, the Timber Giants have endured a tough run, losing three of their last five matches (W1, D1, L3). They’ve managed to score just nine goals and conceded eight. Samartex are yet to secure an away win this season, with three draws and two losses in their travels.

History, however, favors Bechem United, who have defeated Samartex in both of their previous league encounters at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park. The Hunters claimed a 2-0 victory in the 2022/23 season and a narrow 1-0 win in the 2023/24 season.

As Bechem United seek to keep their title hopes alive and FC Samartex aim to turn their season around, fans can expect an intense and competitive clash on Saturday.
