Vision FC will host Medeama SC in a crucial fixture for the Premier League newcomers on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema New Town.

The newly-promoted side are in desperate need of a positive result, as they are winless in their last five matches, with one draw and four defeats. Currently sitting 16th in the relegation zone with 11 points, Vision FC has struggled offensively, scoring just six goals and conceding 11. They are the third weakest home team in the league, with a record of one win, three draws, and one loss in five matches at home.

Medeama SC, on the other hand, will come into the game full of confidence. The Mauve and Yellow are currently 4th on the table with 21 points, having won two of their last five matches (W2, D1, L2). They have scored 11 goals and conceded 8 so far this season. The 2022/23 league champions are the third-best away side in the league this season, and will be determined to secure a victory on Saturday to maintain their push for the top spots.

This matchup pits the third weakest home side against the third-best away side in the league, and promises to be a thrilling contest. It will be the first league meeting between the two sides since Vision FC gained promotion to the Premiership this season.

Kickoff Time: 15:00 GMT
Prediction: Vision FC 1-2 Medeama SC
