Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus has added another significant achievement to his career by being named to the FIFPro African Best XI for 2024 during the CAF Player of the Year Awards in Marrakech, Morocco.
This prestigious honor, introduced as a new category by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in collaboration with FIFPro Division Africa, recognizes the continent’s top football talent. The award allows professional African players from across the globe to vote for their peers who have showcased exceptional performances over the past year.
Kudus’ inclusion in the Best XI marks yet another milestone in a year filled with personal accolades for the West Ham United midfielder.
The 2023-24 Premier League season saw Kudus shine in his debut campaign, scoring 14 goals and providing six assists for West Ham. He also impressed on the international stage during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, where he scored two goals against Egypt and was named Man of the Match on two occasions.
