The 2025/26 Ghana FA Cup is reaching its exciting climax as the semifinal pairings have now been officially confirmed following the conclusion of the quarterfinal stage over the weekend. The last eight matches, played across the Cape Coast Stadium and the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, produced four teams who will now compete for a coveted spot in the final.

Aduana Stars booked their semifinal berth on Saturday with a commanding 3–0 victory over Techiman Liberty Youth FC at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park. The Fire Club dominated from start to finish, displaying attacking flair and defensive stability to secure their place in the final four. Despite already being two-time Ghana Premier League champions, Aduana Stars remain in search of their first-ever FA Cup title, making their semifinal clash a critical step toward that historic goal.

On Sunday, Nations FC joined them in the semifinals after a tense and dramatic encounter against Berekum Chelsea. After regulation and extra time ended goalless, the match went to a penalty shootout, where Nations FC held their nerve to triumph 4–3, highlighting their mental resilience and determination. This victory sets up a fascinating semifinal clash with Aduana Stars, as both sides look to claim their maiden FA Cup trophy.

The second semifinal will see Medeama SC face Dreams FC, an all-Premier League showdown expected to deliver high drama and quality football. Dreams FC earned their place in the final four by edging past Heart of Lions in a 4–3 penalty shootout at the Cape Coast Stadium. The match had ended 1–1 after 120 minutes, but the Still Believe lads showcased composure and precision from the spot to advance.

Meanwhile, Medeama SC overcame Division One side Attram De Visser FC in a thrilling contest at the same venue. After a goalless 90 minutes, young forward Kelvin Nkrumah took center stage in extra time, producing a sensational hat-trick that propelled the Mauve and Yellow to victory and booked their semifinal slot. Medeama, chasing their third FA Cup title, will be aiming to continue their strong cup run and secure another piece of silverware for the club.

The clash between Medeama SC and Dreams FC promises to be highly competitive. Medeama will rely on their experienced core and attacking talents, while Dreams FC aim to replicate their previous FA Cup success and move closer to winning the trophy for a second time. The tactical battle, player form, and composure during key moments are expected to play pivotal roles in determining which team advances to the final.

For the other semifinal, Aduana Stars versus Nations FC is shaping up to be an equally intriguing affair. Aduana’s attacking dominance in the quarterfinals, combined with Nations FC’s resilience in penalties, sets the stage for a tightly contested match. Fans can expect a game filled with intensity, strategic battles in midfield, and decisive moments that could swing the outcome in either team’s favor.

The FA Cup Committee is expected to announce the dates and venues for both semifinal matches in the coming days, ensuring adequate preparation for the competing sides and excitement for the fans. With the winners of the tournament earning the chance to represent Ghana in the 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup, the stakes are high, adding another layer of importance to these crucial fixtures.

As Ghana’s domestic football scene gears up for these thrilling semifinals, supporters are eagerly anticipating top-quality performances from the four remaining clubs. The FA Cup, known for its unpredictable moments and dramatic finishes, continues to showcase emerging talents, tactical ingenuity, and the passion of Ghanaian football.

Both semifinals will not only provide a platform for clubs to chase glory but also allow players to showcase their skills ahead of potential transfers, national team selections, and future career milestones. Fans and pundits alike will be watching closely to see which sides rise to the occasion and secure a place in the grand finale of the 2025/26 FA Cup.

The tournament has already provided moments of excitement, resilience, and unforgettable performances, and the semifinals promise to raise the drama even further. With Ghanaian football on display at its finest, the remaining clubs are set to battle fiercely for the chance to lift one of the nation’s most prestigious trophies.
