Matchday 12 of the Ghana Premier League brought tight games, late goals, and important results across the country.

At the University of Ghana Stadium, Hearts of Oak returned to winning ways with a 1–0 win over Vision FC. Mawuli Wayo scored a smart header in the first half, giving the Phobians a much-needed victory.

Basake Holy Stars also enjoyed a good day, beating Nations FC 1–0. Prince Tweneboah scored in the 80th minute to give the home side all three points.

In Bechem, the home fans were left disappointed as Bechem United lost 2–1 to Hohoe United. Augustine Okrah gave Bechem the lead, but Anane Keke David scored twice in the second half to turn the game around.

At Golden City Park, Berekum Chelsea and FC Samartex played a tough match but ended in a 0–0 draw.

Defending champions Bibiani GoldStars grabbed an important home win, beating Aduana FC 1–0 through a calm 19th-minute penalty from Kumi Attah.

There were more goalless draws as Heart of Lions drew 0–0 with Karela United, and Swedru All Blacks also shared points with Young Apostles in another 0–0 game.

The most exciting match of the weekend came at the Baba Yara Stadium. Asante Kotoko came from 2–0 down to draw 2–2 with Medeama SC. Derrick Fordjour and Yussif Mubarik scored early for Medeama. But Kotoko fought back strongly, with Peter Amidu Acquah scoring in the 59th minute before captain Ndongani Samba Gilbani scored a dramatic stoppage-time equaliser.

The final match of the round will be played on Monday when Eleven Wonders—who are currently without a manager—host Dreams FC at the University of Ghana Stadium.
