2025 Gothia Cup: Ghanaian coach Awuni leads Sporting Supreme to Round of 32, scores incredible 15 goals so far

Ghanaian Coach Awuni Barnabas is displaying his tactical prowess at the ongoing 2025 Gothia Cup in Sweden with Nigerian club Sporting Supreme FC.

The Ghanaian tactician after three matches has triggered massive applause from pundits following his impressive performance at the tournament.

The former WAFA and KingFaisal FC gaffer has recorded a hundred percentimpression at this year’s tournament, a feet no team has choked yet.

His outfit has secured three victories from three matches, scoring 15 goals and have yet to concede a goal.

Sporting Supreme FC upon arriving in Sweden on July 13th, 2025 begun the tournament Monday 14th July 2025. They thumped FC Arlanda 5-0, before annihilating JSC Pitray-Olier Paris 7-0 then secured a 3-0 emphatic win over IFK Skovde FK in their third group game to set the pace for qualification.

Barnabas following this enviable results, now gets Sporting Supreme FC to the round of 32 and will be battling it out with Atvidaberg FF on Thursday.

This tournament is expected to offer platform and exposure to the team and young players but main focus on preparing Sporting Supreme FC for the new season.
