Ghana held a recovery training session at Bryant University on Sunday evening after the 2-1 defeat to Croatia at Lincoln Financial Field sent the Black Stars into the Round of 32 of the World Cup.
Players who featured for more than 45 minutes against Croatia underwent light regeneration work with the medical and fitness staff —stretching, and massage — while the remainder of the squad took part in a full session on the pitch focused on ball work and short-sided games.
That next game is a Round of 32 tie against Colombia on Friday, July 4, at Kansas City Stadium. Colombia topped Group K unbeaten with 7 points, while Ghana advanced from Group L in third place with 4 points — 1 win, 1 draw, 1 loss.
Ghana will return to full training at Bryant University on Monday as preparations ramp up for Colombia.
