Sebastien Desabre has named a 25-man squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Senegal and Togo.
Newly promoted English Premier League side, Ipswich Town’s defender Axel Tuanzebe has earned his first-ever call-up to the national team.
Axel Tuanzebe, 26, has represented England at the youth level and has decided to switch nationality due to lack of playing time.
Brentford’s Yoanne Wissa, Samy Moutoussamy of Nantes and Besiktas’ Arthur Masuak are included in the list.
Pyramids’ striker Fiston Mayele and skipper Chancel Mbemba of Marseille are also included.
The biggest omission is Cedric Bakambu of Real Betis due to injury.
