Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has made two changes to his starting XI for Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Madagascar on Monday, March 24.
Defender Jerome Opoku and midfielder Abu Francis have been handed starting roles, replacing Ernest Nuamah and Inaki Williams. Addo has opted for a 3-5-2 formation, with vice-captain Thomas Partey partnering Francis in midfield.
Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare retains his place in goal, with Alexander Djiku, Mohammed Salisu, and Jerome Opoku forming a three-man defense. Kingsley Schindler and Gideon Mensah will operate as wingbacks, providing width on both flanks.
In attack, captain Jordan Ayew will lead the line alongside Antoine Semenyo, while Mohammed Kudus plays just behind them in a more advanced midfield role.
Ghana heads into the match looking to solidify their position at the top of Group I after their dominant 5-0 victory over Chad on Friday.
Kickoff is scheduled for 19:00 GMT at the Grande Stade Al Hoceima in Morocco.
