Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has been crowned winner of the EFL Championship Goal of the Month award for August after his stunning strike against Charlton Athletic.

The Leicester City star produced a moment of pure brilliance when he collected the ball outside the box and unleashed a thunderous shot that flew past the goalkeeper, leaving fans and pundits in awe.

His effort stood out among several top-class goals nominated across the league and earned the majority of votes from both fans and the judging panel.

Issahaku’s award is a proud moment for both Leicester City and Ghanaian football, underscoring the 20-year-old’s growing influence in English football. The young winger has quickly become a key player for the Foxes, and his spectacular goal is a reminder of his exceptional talent and attacking flair.
