Medeama SC defeated Eleven Wonders FC 2-0 in their Week 27 fixture of the Ghana Premier League at the Tarkwa and Aboso Stadium.
The home side started strongly and took the lead in the 22nd minute through Kelvin Obeng, who headed in a corner delivered by Fatawu Sulemana.
Medeama extended their advantage six minutes later when Salim Adams scored from a well-taken free-kick to make it 2-0.
After the two quick goals, Medeama controlled the game and created more chances but could not add to their tally. Eleven Wonders struggled to threaten and were unable to find a way back into the match.
The win moves Medeama back to the top of the league table, one point ahead of Bibiani Gold Stars FC, who have a game in hand.
