48th NVUGU SWAG Awards- Mohammed Kudus, Comfort Yeboah, Jonathan Sowah, Medeama all awarded

At the Accra International Conference Centre, the 48th edition of Ghana’s longest-running sports awards event, the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) was held.

The night for the NGUVU SWAG Awards featured an impeccable performance from Kofi Kinaata as the vice president of Ghana, H.E Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, who supported the 48th NGUVU Swag Awards with 50,000 cedis graced the occasion.

Westham United and Black Stars forward Mohammed Kidus was crowned Male Footballer of the Year and Princella Adeubea of Racing de Santander was crowned the Best Female Footballer of the Year.

Jonath Sowah, Comfort Yeboah, Medeama SC, James Dadzie, Augustine Adotey Sowah and  Medeama SC were all awarded.

Joy Sports’ Gary Al-Smith was crowned Sports Journalist of the Year.
