Salis Abdul Samed: Clermont Foot midfielder who ‘rejected’ Black Stars call-up due to injury trains ahead of AS Monaco clash on Sunday

Ghanaian midfielder, Salis Abdul Samed who didn’t join Black Stars training camp due to an injury has started training with French Ligue 1 side Clermont Foot, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.

The 21-year-old Ghanaian midfielder declined Black Stars call-up for the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon after he told the officials of the four-time AFCON champions he has suffered an injury.

 

Ahead of his team’s clash against AS Monaco this Sunday afternoon on the road, the youngster has trained with his team and could be playing a part in the match this weekend.

Salis Abdul Samed has been an integral member of the French outfit since joining them in the summer transfer window, having made 17 Ligue 1 appearances.
