Crystal Palace were defeated 3-1 at home by Liverpool during Week 23 of the English Premier League as Ghana attacker Jordan Ayew came off the bench to play the last fourteen minutes.
The Black Stars striker played his first game for Palace since returning from Cameroon following Ghana’s group stage elimination from the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.
Ayew replaced Will Hughes in the 77th minute but did not make any significant impact as Palace were humbled at home by the Reds.
Crystal Palace are 13th on the league table after 22 games with 24 points.
