‘Maxwell Konadu is my boss and he knows it’ – Hearts coach Boadu after heartbreaking draw against Legon Cities

Ghana Premier League giant Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu has has described Legon Cities gaffer Maxwell Konadu as his boss after their matchday 18 clash in the Ghana Premier League at the El Wak Sports Stadium in Accra. 

The double winning coach after a heartbreaking 1-1 draw against the Royals paid a tribute to the former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC coach.

“Maxwell Konadu is my boss and he knows it,” Boadu said after the Ghana Premier League week 18 clash against their city rivals.

 

Hearts scored an early goal in the game through Isaac Mensah to give Boadu’s side a lead and were on course to securing victory against Legon Cities before a late equalizer from Osman Amadu saw the two sides share the spoils.

After the game, Samuel Boadu showed respect to former Black Stars assistant coach who is yet to lose a game against Hearts of Oak as a coach.

The former Medeama SC gaffer, Boadu is without a win in his last five games in the ongoing 2021-22 Ghana Premier League season.
