Asante Kotoko thrash lower tier side in pre-season friendly

Ghanaian giant Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC thrashed lower tier side Panthers FC in their first pre-season game on Monday morning in Accra.

The Porcupine Warriors went down by two goals early in the game to the Accra based Division Two team in their encounter.

Steven Amankona, the former Berekum Chelsea captain scored the consolation goal for the Reds who finally got the equalizer through youngster Ernest Osei Poku.

Steven Mukwala from Uganda and Dickson Afoakwa got the other two goals to hand the Porcupine Warriors a deserving 4-2 win.
