Former Bechem United midfielder, Augustine Okrah, was on target as Simba SC beat Asante Kotoko in a friendly game on Sunday, August 28.
Okrah, who once played for the Porcupine Warriors, got onto the scoresheet to equalise for the Tanzanian side after Kotoko had taken the lead through Steven Mukwala.
The game, which was played in Sudan as part of Kotoko’s pre-season tour, saw the Tanzanian side come from behind to snatch a 4-2 victory with the Ghanaian getting on the scoresheet.
Okrah joined Simba after a successful 2021/22 campaign with Bechem United which saw the club finish third in the Ghana Premier League while also reaching the final of the MTN FA Cup.
Okrah has already had a blistering start to life in Tanzania following a goal on his debut.
