Ghanaian playmaker Daniel Kofi Kyereh has been included in the traveling squad of SC Freiburg for their UEFA Europa League game on Thursday evening.
The Ghanaian midfielder missed out on the team’s last Bundesliga win away at Bayer 04 Leverkusen when Freiburg emerged 3-2 winners.
He rather featured for the reserve side of Freiburg in the German Bundesliga 3 against Ingolstadt, a game he played 80 minutes of football.
He has duly been rewarded for his effort in the game as Head coach Christian Streich heaped praises on the midfielder who joined this summer but yet to establish himself at the club.
The German-born Ghanaian is expected to be given a chance to shine when his team takes on Qarabag FK in the Europa League tomorrow.
