German midfielder Toni Kroos has picked his club team mates Federico Valverde among the three best players on the globe ahead of the 2022 world cup in Qatar.

The Uruguayan international was the star man on Sunday afternoon as Madrid thrashed eternal rivals Barcelona 3-1 in the Spanish La Liga and he has been commended by the experienced German play maker.

” Valverde is among the top three players in the world, ” Kroos stated after the game.

Valverde, 24, will be very instrumental in the 2022 world cup in Qatar as Uruguay hopes to qualify from a Group comprising Ghana, Uruguay and South Korea.
