Ghanaian forward Yaw Annor scored his first goal of the season for Al Ismaily SC in the 2022-23 Egyptian Premier League on Friday evening at home.
The former Obuasi Ashantigold SC attacker grabbed a consolation goal for the Yellow and Sky Blue side against top side Pyramids FC.
He netted his first goal for the club this season 32 minutes into the game and gave his team a little hope after they went down to two early goals.
Ramadan Sobhi scored after just nine minutes before Islam Issa added the second goal for the away team after 13 minutes to make it 2-0.
Annor’s goal was not enough to salvage a point for the home team who are winless in their opening seven games this season.
