Nigeria star Samuel Chukwueze was on target for Villarreal in their 3-0 win at Osasuna in LaLiga on Sunday.
It was Chukwueze’s fourth goal in LaLiga and also his 11th in all competitions for the Yellow Submarines this season.
Chukwueze opened scoring for his side in the 14th minute after finishing off Alfonso Pedraza‘s pinpoint cross with his knee.
Just three minutes after netting the opener, Chukwueze thought he had doubled the lead but his effort was disallowed for offside.
Jose Luis Morales got Villarreal’s second in the 85th then got on the score sheet again in the 93rd to wrap things up.
Chukwueze was substituted with five minutes left in the game.
Villarreal are in sixth position – Europa Conference League qualification spot – on 41 points in the league table.
