Abdul Karim Kabutey Zito managed just three victories in eight Ghana Premier League matches before FC AshantiGold 04 terminated his appointment as head coach and technical director with immediate effect.
Zito recorded three wins, two draws and three defeats during his eight-match spell, earning 11 points from a possible 24. His record translates to a 37.5 per cent win rate, with the team dropping points in five of the eight matches under his leadership.
The former AshantiGold 04 boss drew two matches, accounting for 25 per cent of his games, while his three defeats represented another 37.5 per cent. His statistics show an equal number of victories and losses, with the team unable to secure a win in more than half of the matches he managed.
Out of the 24 points available, Zito’s side collected 11, giving him a points-per-game average of 1.38. The team missed out on 13 points across the eight fixtures, a record that highlights the challenges of his short spell in charge.
His departure comes alongside the termination of the appointments of assistant coach Ernest Okyere and goalkeeper trainer Robert Dabuo, as AshantiGold 04 bring their current technical arrangement to an end.
