Ghanaian centre-back Lalas Abubakar has been named in the MLS team of the week.
The talented guardsman put up a superb performance as Colorado Rapids went away to beat to beat LA Galaxy on Sunday, May 7.
Abubakar opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a fine finish as his side went on to win the day.
He was very efficient throughout the encounter as he also defended gallantly and made a series of timely tackles.
