Ghanaian midfielder Prosper Ahiabu was on the score sheet for his team Vaasan Palloseura in the Finland Veikkausliiga on Saturday afternoon.
The former Ghana youth player played full throttle for the Black and Whites outfit as they won 3-0 against fourth-placed team Oulu to move to seventh on the league table after 16 games with 18 points.
Ahiabu broke the deadlock of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the game with a 17th minute strike.
An own by Callum Ward doubled the home team’s advantage before Sebastian Strandvall added the icing on the cake goal to make it a comprehensive 3-0 win.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian midfielder has made 15 appearances in the Finnish top-flight for his team with one goal to his name.
