Ghanaian forward Bernard Tekpetey scored a brace for Bulgarian First Professional League giant Ludogorets Razgrad 1945 in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers on Wednesday.

He broke the deadlock of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the game with a fourth minute header from close range to reduce the deficit to just one goal following a 2-0 first leg loss.

Just before the half time whistle was blown, the Ghanaian attacker struck again to make it 2-0 on the night and 2-2 on aggregate at halftime with all to play for in the second 45 minutes of the match.

Four minutes inside the second half of the match Matias Tissera found the back of the net to turn the tie on its head for the Green and Whites Eagles.

Caio Vidal Rocha netted the last goal which was the fourth on the night to make it 4-0 on the night and 4-2 on aggregate to progress to the next stage of the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League qualifiers.
