German side 1860 Munich sign Ghanaian Leeroy Kwadwo

Germany Bundesliga 2 side TSV 1860 Munich brings have signed Ghanaian footballer Leroy Kwadwo ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.

The defender was signed from MSV Duisburg. The lions are also reacting to the injury-related absences of Michael Glück and Daniel Winkler. The 26-year-old central defender will wear the number 21 shirt.

Born in Herten, he began his footballing career at Rot-Weiss Essen and also played for Wattenscheid 09 and Westfalia Herne in his youth. In the men’s division, Leroy made his debut for TSG Sprockhövel in the Oberliga Westfalen.

He played at Essen on loan, Schalke and Düsseldorf and later played for Würzburger Kickers,where he played 25 games in the 3rd division and, after being promoted, four games in the Bundesliga 2.

In the 2020/21 season, Kwadwo won the Germany Bundesliga 3 championship with Dynamo Dresden and then switched to MSV Duisburg, where he made 42 games appearances in the 3rd division.
