Ghanaian-born Austrian international Kevin Danso has revealed why he decided to sign a new contract with French Ligue 1 side Racing Club de Lens.
Despite interest from top clubs across Europe, the defender still choose to stay with the French Ligue 1 side.
According to the defender, he decided to extend the contract because the supporters of the club wanted him to stay with the Red and Yellows outfit.
He signed a new deal which will keep him at the club till June 30th in the year 2027 with a further year renewal option in his new contract with the club.
Danso was named in the 2022-23 French Ligue 1 Team-Of-The-Year after a stellar performance for the club who placed second and qualified for the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League competition.
