In the Norwegian Eliteserien, Ghana’s Solomon Owusu played a pivotal role, scoring a goal and providing an assist in Odds BK’s thrilling 3-2 victory over Sandefjord on Sunday.

Before the match, the historical head-to-head record favored Odds Ballklubb with 13 wins, while Sandefjord had secured five wins, with seven draws in between.

Solomon Owusu featured from the start and played the entire 90 minutes, emerging as the standout performer of the match.

Throughout the game at the Skagerak Arena, Odds BK maintained greater possession of the ball.

The scoring action began with Franklin Nyenetue, who found the net with a left-footed shot from very close range in the 15th minute, granting the away side an early lead. Danilo Al-Saed provided the assist for Franklin Nyenetue’s goal.

Sandefjord responded with an equalizer in the 33rd minute when Faniel Tewelde unleashed a right-footed shot from outside the box into the bottom left corner. Filip Jørgensen assisted Faniel Tewelde’s goal, making it 1-1.

Odds BK regained the lead in the 43rd minute, courtesy of Filip Jørgensen, who capitalized on an opportunity. Solomon Owusu was credited with the assist for Filip Jørgensen’s goal.

However, Sandefjord swiftly countered with a goal of their own, as Danilo Al-Saed found the back of the net in the 44th minute.

The decisive moment came in the 86th minute when Solomon Owusu brilliantly scored the winning goal for the home side, courtesy of a well-placed free kick.

As of now, Odds BK occupies the 8th position on the league table with 29 points, while Hamarkameratene sits at the 18th spot with 14 points.
