Black Stars midfielder, Thomas Partey has been cleared medically for football and might be in action against Manchester City on Sunday, October 8, 2023.
Thomas Partey hasn’t played football since sustaining a groin injury in September but Mikel Arteta has confirmed his ability for Arsenal’s game against Manchester City.
Arsenal will host the defending champions on Premier League match day 8 and a win for either side will push them to first position on the league table.
Speaking ahead of the game, Arteta said Partey is available and will be in the squad against Manchester City.
“Well, he’s ahead of schedule that’s for sure. We wanted to have him in the squad if we needed to, but the way the game panned out we had other necessities and we didn’t use him. He will be in the squad tomorrow,” he said in the pre-match presser.
