It was all square at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex as Nations FC held Asante Kotoko to a 2-2 draw on match day 6 of the ongoing 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season.

Asante Kotoko suffered a heart break of penalities as they shared the points with the new comers, Nations FC.

The Porcupine Warriors after going down in the 59th minute through Amidou Diarra’s penalty staged a comeback to win the game.

Asante Kotoko had two great goals from Kalo Ouattara and Michael Kyei Dwamena but they got published in the final minutes after conceding another penalty in the 98th minute.

Amidou Diarra who had converted the first penalty scored again when it mattered most to get a point in the game for his team.

A win for Asante Kotoko would have taken them to the 1st position on the Premier League table.
