Ghanaian striker Mark Osei Assinor, says he’s working so hard to ensure his impressive form at club side gets recognised by Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton.
According to him Assinor who is currently rated the third highest scorer in the Slovakian Nike Liga, he’s hoping that he finishes the ongoing season with good stats to make his Black Stars dream a reality ahead of the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast.
“Yes, I would like to achieve that. I think it is possible for me to succeed. But you don’t just get an opportunity, you have to earn it. I’m working really hard and if I finish the season with good stats, like I said, it’s possible.” said Assinor in an interview with zpfutbal.sk.
Assinor has been in superlative form since the beginning of the 2023-24 campaign, netting six goals and delivering three assists in nine matches.
