Ghana’s forward Issah Abass has reacted to his comeback to full fitness after a long absence in the Liga Portugal due to injuries for over a month.

The Ghana youth player featured for GD Chaves in the Portuguese Top-flight over the weekend against giant S. L. Benfica at home.

He came on as a second half substitute for his team as they suffered defeat to the Red and Whites Eagles at home in the week 10 clash.

“Feels good to be back on the field again after being out for some weeks. Believe” he started on social media

The Ghanaian international missed the last five matches due to injuries after featuring in the first four matches of the 2023-24 campaign in the Liga Portugal.

He played the last 22 minutes of the match but little could he do to help his side get at least a goal let alone a point as they succumbed to be big guys.

The former Asokwa Deportivo SC and Mainz 05 player has not been involved in a goal for his new club yet after five appearances.
