Expressing her determination and belief in the team, Black Queens midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe addressed the media ahead of the crucial clash against Namibia in the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers.

Cudjoe emphasized that failure to qualify would be painful and would squarely fall on the players’ shoulders.

The midfielder highlighted the team’s quality, unity, and progression over recent months, asserting that the Black Queens have exceptional talents.

“We believe in ourselves and we challenge each other every single day. We have a point to prove but we also believe that we have done a lot in the last few months. We’ve stepped up every single game, people have watched and they can see the progression in every single game.

Cudjoe emphasized that the outcome of the two-legged encounter rests in their hands and called for a collective effort to secure qualification.

“We have amazing talents. This game will come down to who wants it more. It’s in our own hands to be able to deliver and if we don’t deliver, we have to blame ourselves. It will be tough if we don’t qualify,” Jennifer Cudjoe said.

The Ghana vs. Namibia match is set for Friday, December 1, with kickoff at 3:30 pm at the Accra Sports Stadium.
