Ghanaian attacker Ropapa Mensah has signed a one-year contract extension with USL league one side Chattanooga Red Wolves.
The ex-Inter Allies striker is part of six players whose services have been rewarded with a contract extension due to his commitment to the League one side. The Lanky striker proved to be an important part of the club’s fortune last year as he notched in 12 goals including three nominations for League one goal of the week.
Since our inception, the Red Wolves have worked diligently to build a strong player foundation each year with the hopes of advancing us to a title,” said President and GM Sean McDaniel. “We feel we have done just that by bringing back the players that Scott feels he can now create a competing roster around. We have very high expectations in 2024 and the optioned players show the club’s commitment to winning.”
Ropapa Mensah was a household name in the Ghanaian premier league when he played for inter allies football club before his move to the United States to play for Harrisburg City Islander.
The former Under -23 Ghanaian striker has also played for Nashville, Sporting Kansas and Pittsburg Riverhounds
