There will be no representation from Accra Hearts of Oak when the African Cup of Nations kicks off in Ivory Coast next month.
Coach Chris Hughton’s squad have been released with no addition of any Accra Hearts of Oak player in the squad. The squad however includes a host of local players from Medeama, Dreams Fc, Asante Kotoko, Accra Great Olympics and Nations Fc.
Hearts of Oak mercurial midfielder, Ibrahim Salifu was rumored to have made the provisional squad due to his sublime form for the capital giants this term in the local league. The squad will further be trimmed to twenty-seven players before 3rd January.
