AFCON 2025 will be hosted by Morocco as no date has been revealed by CAF and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation for the prestigious tournament.
Per reports emanating from FIFA, the federation for international football will likely propose to CAF and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation to postpone the 2025 AFCON which was rumoured to take place in the summer of 2025 to enable FIFA to stage the new Club World Cup championship.
It remains unclear whether CAF will accept FIFA’s proposal or will reject it and host the AFCON in 2025 summer in Morocco.
32 teams will compete for the FIFA Club World Cup in 2025.
