Ghanaian winger Fatawu Issahaku played a pivotal role in Leicester City’s 2-1 victory against Watford in the Championship on Saturday afternoon, continuing his impressive form with the Foxes in England.

Before the encounter, the head-to-head record favored Leicester City, with 14 wins compared to Watford’s 8 wins, along with 2 draws.

Issahaku, on loan from Sporting Lisbon, started the game at Vicarage Road and showcased his talent for 83 minutes.

The Foxes secured the win with goals from Patson Daka and Ricardo Pereira. Zambian international Patson Daka opened the scoring with a penalty in the 11th minute, while Ricardo Pereira added the second goal with a right-footed shot from the center of the box, assisted by Fatawu Issahaku.

Despite Nigerian striker Emmanuel Dennis pulling one back for Watford in the 63rd minute, Leicester held on for the victory.

Issahaku’s impactful performance adds to his impressive season stats, having made 25 appearances, scored two goals, and assisted nine in the Championship so far.
