Ghanaian international Jerome Opoku has expressed his excitement following his winner in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday evening at home to Antalyaspor for Istanbul Basaksehir.

He emerged as the hero for Istanbul Basaksehir in a thrilling Turkish Super Lig encounter against Antalyaspor. The Saturday evening clash saw Opoku’s decisive goal securing a hard-fought victory for his team.

Opoku’s moment of glory came in the 91st minute of the match, showcasing his composure and skill under pressure. His timely goal not only secured the win for Istanbul Basaksehir but also demonstrated his importance to the team’s success.

Throughout the match, Opoku displayed exceptional performance statistics, further highlighting his impact on the field. With 90 minutes played, he garnered an impressive rating of 7.8, showcasing his consistent quality throughout the game. His goal-scoring prowess was evident, contributing significantly to his team’s offensive efforts.

In addition to his goal, Opoku showcased his all-around abilities with 82 touches on the ball, showcasing his involvement in both defensive and attacking plays. His passing accuracy was commendable, completing 71 out of 76 passes with a remarkable accuracy rate of 93%. Furthermore, his defensive contributions were crucial, making four recoveries to thwart Antalyaspor’s attacks.

Opoku’s stellar performance against Antalyaspor adds to his impressive season in the Turkish Super Lig. With 18 matches played so far, he has tallied three goals and provided one assist, maintaining an impressive average rating of 7.08.
