Medeama capitalized on their home advantage to secure a crucial victory over Aduana Stars in the outstanding Ghana Premier League fixture on Thursday morning.
At the Akon Community Park, the Yellow and Mauve emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over the fire boys, courtesy of goals from Michael Enu and Derrick Fordjour.
Initially scheduled for Wednesday, the highly anticipated match between Medeama SC and Aduana FC was postponed due to heavy rainfall, which prevented the game’s conclusion.
When play resumed today, Medeama capitalized on their momentum, with Michael Enu breaking the deadlock in the 71st minute. Derrick Fordjour then sealed the victory with a goal in injury time.
With this win, Medeama climbs to 9th place on the Ghana Premier League table with 32 points, while Aduana Stars maintain their 3rd spot with 36 points.
