Legon Cities who are unbeaten in their last 6 home games will host Bechem United on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at Theater of Dreams at Dawu.

Legon Cities had a good start to life in this season’s Cup Competition as they beat Accra Lions 3-0 at home in an all Premier League encounter in the Round of 64.

The Royals knocked out Koforidua based Division Two side Suhyen United 4 -0 to make the Round of 32 before defeating former champions Nania FC 2-1 to secure a quarter final spot.

Bechem United are 5th in the Premier League but have been outstanding in this season’s Cup Competition after thrashing Division One League side Debibi United 8-0 at home in the Round of 64.

The Hunters went on to beat PAC Academy 3-0 in the round of 32 before winning in a penalty shootout over a strong-willed Division Two side Akwaboso Young Madrid.

Legon Cities are winless in their last 8 Premier League encounters against Bechem United since 2021/22 season.

Legon Cities boast Nicholas Mensah, Joseph Mereku, Kamal Suraje, Ramin Doobi, Rahim Abdul, Fredrick Akatuk, Frank Akoto, Stephen Asare, Morris Fuseini and Stephen Blankson.

The Hunters also go into the game with the likes of Emmanuel Ababio, Emmanuel Abban, Francis Acquah, Emmanuel Annor, Joseph Kinful, Isaiah Nyarko, Kwame Offin, Abdul Salifu, Francis Dugah and Gabriel Tenlep.
