Lawrence Ati-Zigi, the Ghanaian international goalkeeper, expresses his delight at reaching a milestone of 150 appearances for St Gallen in the Swiss Super League.

In a recent match against Luzern during week 29 of the Swiss Super League, Ati-Zigi celebrated his 150th appearance, playing a crucial role in their 1-1 draw at home.

“150 Super League Games. Glory be to God. Happy to have played my 150th games with this amazing club full of passion and emotions,” he shared on social media, expressing his gratitude.

St Gallen took the lead with a goal from Albert Vallci in the 42nd minute, heading into halftime with the advantage.

Despite their dominance, the home team was denied victory when Lars Villiger scored a late equalizer in injury time, securing a valuable away point for Luzern.

Ati-Zigi, aged 27, has featured in 28 matches in the Swiss top-flight this season, missing only one game thus far.

Since joining St Gallen in January 2020, Ati-Zigi has become a cornerstone of the team, establishing himself as a key player.

His current contract with St Gallen is set to expire in the summer of 2025, and the club will be keen to retain such a valuable asset who has made a significant impact since his arrival.

Ati-Zigi’s consistent performances and reliability in goal have endeared him to both fans and teammates, making him an integral part of St Gallen’s squad.

As he celebrates this milestone, Ati-Zigi reflects on his journey with gratitude, acknowledging the support of his teammates, coaches, and fans throughout his time at the club.

Looking ahead, Ati-Zigi remains focused on continuing to contribute to St Gallen’s success and helping the team achieve their objectives in the Swiss Super League.

With his dedication and commitment, Ati-Zigi embodies the spirit of St Gallen, exemplifying the club’s values on and off the pitch.

As he enters the next phase of his career, Ati-Zigi’s milestone serves as a testament to his hard work and perseverance, inspiring others to strive for excellence in their endeavors.
